ABOUT ME
I've always been captivated by the big screen and television; technology has revolutionised storytelling, enabling us to show life in its rawest forms in factual and fictional productions. My vocation is to channel my creativity, imagination, and passion into creating engaging and exciting media content with the potential to bring the same joy I experience when watching television to other people. I am not afraid of long hours and hard work. I want the experience of helping a team bring a television show to broadcast and the opportunity to increase the production value. EXPERIENCE
I secured a role with Label1 TV as a Production Management Assistant and Runner for the pre-production and production (filming) period on a returning observational documentary series. Responsibilities included using Silver Mouse to complete production paperwork. Used the Rimms software to record consents for contributors of during the filming period. Making and completing an Albert Tracker for during the filming period. I set up and held the boom for the PD’s during shoots. Preparing radio mic’s ahead of shooting and mic’d up contributors. I got drinks and food for the editorial teams during long shooting days. I drove the production car to collect and deliver used and wiped cards to and from the DIT at production base to the editorial teams as well as getting shopping for the production base. I took notes for the SP during shoots highlighting what contributors were saying and relaying that back to the editorial team. Amazon Prime Craft Academy Trainee with the National Film and Television School (NFTS) - I received two months training on all craft departments and production management department at the BBC Cymru Wales. Now starting Ten months of placements on various TV productions both in scripted and unscripted genres. EDUCATION University of the West of England (UWE) - 2:1 Degree in Media Production. City of Bristol College - BTEC qualifications in English Literature, History, Sociology, achieving Merits or Distinctions for each assignment. National Health Service, Blood and Transplant (Marketing Department) - Level Two apprenticeship qualification in Business Administration. University Of West London, London College of Music Exams - Grade 8 Musical Theatre qualification, achieved a distinction for the exam. St Bedes Catholic College - Twelve GCSE's A-C. SKILLS
Proficient in using Adobe Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Audition, Myriad software and Photoshop. PC literate, experienced using Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher. Comfortable operating camera, lighting and audio equipment on set or location by myself or as part of a team. Experience in driving Luton's and 3.5t vans. Boom operating in surgical theatres. I've sourced and created innovative and exciting ideas and contributors for topical and gripping programmes by looking to the future and always asking what is next. I can work with contributors and manage complicated and challenging schedules, diaries, and teams. |
